Early Bookmaking
(2017-2018)
After college, I had a wealth of leftover marbled paper and a desire to make something not just functional, but beautiful.
I became obsessed with the meditative process of folding paper along the grain, stabbing holes in the signatures (the sections of paper), sewing the sections together, and merging the text with cover to create a one-of-a-kind art piece that was meant to be held and cherished. Books become a collaboration with the strangers who pour their hearts into them, and that part brings me a lot of joy.
These are all discontinued items, and I’m sad to say that I’m no longer making books to sell. Please no inquiries.
